Our story

It all started at Yale, where Andrea and Garrek bonded over their love for high-quality matcha and a shared passion for bringing people together through meaningful conversation. With a mutual interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship, what began as casual tea breaks soon evolved into a series of campus pop-ups designed to connect builders, founders, and VCs over the finest ceremonial-grade matcha.

This isn’t your average matcha. It’s thoughtful, energizing, and rooted in community.

We source our powder from trusted purveyors in Uji, Japan and use 5 grams of matcha in every serving, delivering clean, focused energy you can genuinely feel.

Not everyone makes matcha this way. It takes more care—and it isn’t cheap. But from the start, this has always been a passion project.
